I began recording this album in 2019. Then COVID-19 hit us all hard, and time stood still for a few years, after which it felt warped, simultaneously too fast and too still. During this time, I experienced time lost, time stolen, a time to grieve, time to cherish, and time to let go. I also felt “suspended” – emotionally, physically, and thematically.
